  • After looking through the yellow pages and checking the Better Business Bureau, we decided to get an estimate on repairing our transmission from Trans Tech Transmissions. While my husband was outside with Jim reviewing the problem in our van, I sat in the office for about 30 minutes observing Alex, their most efficient and courteous assistant at the front desk. I watched the way she happily greeted each walk-in customer; I listened to her kind and efficient demeanor on the phone, and became very aware of the way she spoke to each individual with knowledge of their problems and confidence in her employer and technicians. Alex was the first impression I had of Trans Tech, and she sold me on Trans Tech in those 30 minutes. When I walked outside and listened to Jim talking with my husband, I was once again convinced we had come to the right place. We had found an auto shop priding itself on excellent service, and one with moral integrity when it came to dealing with its customers. We were given a rental car paid for by Trans Tech for the three days it took to repair the transmission. The work was completed in the time frame quoted, and the price we paid was within the estimated cost provided before the work began. Our 2002 Pontiac Van is running like new - and we are grateful to have the opportunity to recommend Trans Tech.
